I'm a beginning writer with a Brisbane Bucket-list and a desire to see it all and report back.
Award Winning Hypnotist
If you have never seen a comedy hypnosis show, now is the time cross it off the bucket list as Matt Hale is coming to SunPAC in June. This hilarious Stage Hypnotist has been working his magic from Sydney to Vegas and recently had a sell-out season, so is sure to rock your socks off.
I've already booked my ticket because I am yet to be disappointed by comedic hypnosis. In fact, twice now I have been astonished and amazed by the abilities hypnotists possess, they truly are masters of manipulating the mind. Plus, Matt Hale has won awards, and many, many accolades, so I am positive it will be even better than my previous exposures to this art form.
When you do go to buy your tickets, grab one for your wildest friend because the hilarity of all hypnosis shows is dependent on the volunteers willing to immerse themselves. But I do stress the word VOLUNTEER here; as you can only be put under hypnosis if you are willing to be, so don't stress if you just want to come along and laugh rather than participate... but it is definitely always more funny to laugh at a friend, partner or perhaps mother-in-law.
Comedy Hypnotist - Matt Hale
Even if you are a sceptic, I beg you to just give it a go! I mean, for $35 why not check it out? I too thought the volunteers would be a bunch of actors the first time I saw a hypnosis show but within 5 minutes of the curtain rolling on up, I was hooked, and a true believer. It is incredible the way hypnosis effects different people and it is more incredible what people will do when under the effects of this mindful manipulation. However... in case you're wondering this show will be of the "tasteful" variety and not the "naughty" variety. In fact I think that Hale sums it up well himself when he says that "I also design every show around the premise that I want anyone watching to be thinking 'That was amazing, I wish I was up there' rather than 'That was amazing, but I'm glad it's not me up there!'," he says.
