Most dog owners would agree that a tired dog is a happy dog. While many of us are time poor, have small backyards and energetic pups, the reliance on dog parks to exercise our four legged friends has never been greater.
I stumbled across the Hyde Road Dog Park at Yeronga by accident. Well, I was led there by my pooch who couldn't wait to try out the park's agility course which he seemed to notice from afar.

Along with the usual green grass, this park has weave poles and pause tables to test your pups agility, concentration and balance. Some pups are content to just look and others seem happy to jump, run and dart around and through the course.

And if pup still isn't tired, the park is close to the Brisbane corso which provides a picturesque view and riverwalk to finish off your day.

As a slightly dog obsessed mama, I always check out dog parks to make sure they are safe and clean. I have found the pups at Hyde Road Dog Park to be well socialised, healthy and most importantly, play nicely. Hyde Road Dog Park will provide hours of mental stimulation and physical exercise for the active Aussie dog.
