Nestled in the backstreets of Yeronga is a beautiful bar and restaurant which rivals the best that Brisbane has to offer. Eating local is becoming a national desire and stepping out and over to a local hotspot such as this has the locals in a rapture. With an impressive menu and drinks list to choose from, you can also head along for open mic night on a Wednesday night.

We have been here for both lunch and dinner and were surprised at the quality and exciting ingredients used in each dish. Lunch time menus generally offer a variety of tapas style foods and we were impressed by the tempura prawns which had a delicately light batter and were a really decent size.

When we visited for dinner, my husband had a duck confit leg which was moist and flavourful. My pork belly and coleslaw was salty and succulent with zesty notes to spike through the fattiness of the meat. We were happy and sated with our meal and would love to return soon to sample the changing menu.



This would be a spectacular place for a party or event with large tables and ample seating for larger groups. The drinks menu has some real gems on it with Stone and Wood limited release beers and a wide selection of Australian wines. They'll also mix you up a delicious cocktail and often have an specialty ice tea to refresh you.
