Sink your teeth into these this summer
Burger experts Huxtaburger have launched three new chicken burgers for the summer season at all their locations around Melbourne (Collingwood, Prahran, Hawthorn, the CBD and Eastland.)
The new burgers, named the Keith, Britney and Kylie are made from free-range RSPCA approved grilled chicken. We were lucky enough to be invited to pop in to check out the new menu and ordered up the Keith which is a huge win if you're a fan of smokey barbecue sauce because the sauce is made in-house and they could easily sell it by the bottle.
The Keith burger is made of grilled chicken breast, bacon, cheese, pineapple and lettuce topped with smoked paprika mayo and smokey BBQ sauce (pictured below).

We also gave the mini burger adorably named the Kylie a try. It's perfect for those diners feeling only slightly peckish, or for a kids sized burger. The teeny Kylie jams a whole lot of punch into a mini burger, with the classic combination of grilled chicken breast, cheese, aioli, lettuce and tomato.

While we made the rookie error of not bringing a big enough appetite, the Britney would've been a treat with all the good stuff including grilled chicken breast, avocado, aioli, cheese, lettuce and tomato.
Additionally, they've made summer even sweeter (and a whole lot cooler) with the addition of their Huxtaburger's ice cream burger.

Because all meals need to end on a sweet note, this one is hard to resist. The new ice cream burger is a vanilla ice cream patty coated in a secret recipe biscuit crumb they like to call the 'Huxtacrunch' topped with mounds of chocolate, salted caramel or strawberry sauce, jammed between a mini bun. It's definitely a sweet treat and definitely 'Instagrammable'.
