The Huxtaburger Eastland's Junior Burger Masterclass teaches kids the art of burger making. These were very popular last time they were on so you might want to consider booking early. Plus, it is nice to have a few surprises up your sleeve when the kids start to get bored towards the end of January.
The Huxtaburger crew will be hosting twelve of these entertaining burger masterclasses for kids aged 5-13 years old.
The lesson is all about food safety, food presentation and what's needed to make the perfect cheeseburger. Burgers are a dish that kids generally enjoy eating so they are probably going to relate well to this class. You also have lunch solved as well.
But wait there's more as kids also finish off by creating their own ice cream burger. The ice-cream burger is a new creation of a vanilla ice cream patty rolled on crushed feuilletine (brittle crispy flakes with caramelised, praline flavours), drizzled with a chocolate, strawberry or caramel sauce and stuffed between a small-brioche bun.
This all seems quite good value for $10 a child.
So many kids end up flippin' burgers when they get to the age of having part-time jobs so I guess it doesn't hurt to start somewhere.
