Don't sweat it
Your New Year's resolution has come and gone and as usual, it did not last. That is if you even stuck with it. But let's be honest with each other, who sticks with their resolutions? You think your motivation has died with your resolution, but that should not have to be the case. It's hard to stick to goals, but did you know that it takes a simple step to make your goal more feasible? It is the simple method of writing it down which makes it more feasible than having your goal remaining in your mind. My goal is to start going to the gym at least once a week. In fact, I'm going to start going to the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre more often. It's located on the corner of King George's Rd and Forest Rd in Hurstville.
We have seen a tremendous growth in the fitness industry as people are becoming more aware and educated on their health and wellbeing. As a result, this has created opportunities for a growth & buildup of fitness businesses, such as gyms and personal trainers. There is a gym now in almost every suburban area in Sydney or close enough for every household, it is incredible. Lucky for Hurstville, the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre has been around for many years and has seen a significant growth in the local population as the fitness industry, with more and more people investing in their health.
The centre offers an endless range of facilities for all ages, young & the mature. You asked and they delivered, from a swimming pool, sauna, spa, a gym, an outdoor kids play area and fitness classes of all sorts. We are talking of the famous Zumba (a mix of dancing & working out), yoga, body pump, body combat (for those who like a sweaty hardcore intense workout), cardio boxing and pilates just to name a few and that is just the classes in the studio. They also have classes for pool exercises. You can find more information on the timetable which is displayed on the wall on your way. Otherwise it is provided on their website.
As people have become more educated on their health and nutrition, you will find an information board just outside the gym room that shows a variety of food and their calorie count for those looking for a bit of guidance. Personally, I believe that this is such a great idea to keep handy and use for motivation and encouragement. The centre really caters for self-improvement, motivation and moving forward; it is what sets them apart from other gyms.
You can find classes for almost anything you are seeking, for example swimming for your young ones or more water aerobics - they offer it all and if you have any questions their friendly staff will be more than happy to assist you. You will feel right at home here as you become a frequent visitor and keep your eye on their member deals as they run them occasionally. If you happen to be at the right time, you may be lucky to catch their 6 month membership deal which is a purchase of 6 months with the following 6 months for free. However, you should check the terms and conditions for any deal, just so you do not trap yourself and avoid misunderstandings.
As if all this was not enough in regards to what the centre can provide, they also cater for special occasions like birthdays and help you with all your needs to deliver a fun experience for that special day. Some of the services they provide are the catering, so you can choose the food you want, whether it is platter food or finger food that is suitable for the kids. If you are struggling to find the time you need to plan the party, the centre offers that extra help. They can also do the party invites for you. They have set packages to cater for all this and you can find out more by inquiring if you are interested. It really is a happy event when you can have it all in the one place.
