A wide variety of entertainment & activities for all ages

2017 marks the 14th annual Hurstbridge Wattle Festival - a popular family friendly event which showcases the Hurstbridge township and presents an exciting celebration of its rich heritage and vibrant community spirit.

This one day festival will take place on Sunday 27th August, 2017 from 10am to 4pm and features a jam-packed day of awesome entertainment and activities for all the family to enjoy!

One of the main attractions of the community event is the Steam Train; festivalgoers can travel to the festival by steamtrain shuttle rides between Hurstbridge and Eltham during the day. This is a perfect opportunity to experience train travel, the way it was over 100 years ago! To view ticketing options as well as the travel schedule, please

Check out the full program here.

This event offers all Melburnians a day out to celebrate our unique Australian heritage community and environment in a relaxed rural town at the end of the suburban rail network.

Please note that most of the events are free, but there are a few which incur costs. Please view the website for more details.
