Take a ride on a steam train
The Hurstbridge Wattle Festival will be held on Sunday 25 August 2019 and is a celebration of the town's heritage, environment and community.

With Spring just around the corner, it's a time to see the beautiful wattle in all its blooming glory as it spreads out along Diamond Creek and into the town of Hurstbridge in Diamond Valley.

The main street and the various festival precincts will come alive with a fabulous array of entertainment, great new attractions, events and activities for the whole family, with the majority being free.

With its roots firmly planted in our early rail history, the festival's flagship attraction is the fully restored K class steam that will shuttle passengers between Hurstbridge and Eltham during the day. You can also jump on the morning train from Flinders Street Station to Hursbridge and return on the night train back to Flinders Street Station. Times and ticket details are available here.

Thanks for the article Julia. Is there a way I can contact you to let you know a few thing need amended. No double decker bus this year, and no Best of Fest.
Include Uptown Brown too. Cheers
