The Humpybong Distilling Company is a cafe by day and bar by night; they serve the finest Campos coffee 7 days a week and sling craft beer and other downright delicious beverages from Thursday night to Sunday night. Located in Stafford, literally down the road from Stafford City, the suburb's biggest shopping centre, Humpybong is just 10km from Brisbane's central business district - it is easily accessed by car (unless you're drinking, of course!) and public transport. There is plenty of parking available (both in the adjacent car park and surrounding streets) for those who choose to drive in. For those catching public transport, take Bus 345 (stops at Shand St & Sparks Hill) or Bus 369 (stops at Stafford Rd near Windorah St).

What's the ambience like at Humpybong Distilling Company
Humpybong sits in a converted warehouse space - it's a place that welcomes people to come and relax without needing to adhere to a dress code or drop hundreds of dollars for some good chow (and drink). The wooden tables and chairs are simple with minimal decor bar a single plant centrepiece. Walls are equally minimalist, adorned with only posters of upcoming music-related events in the Brisbane area. Plus, dog owners will be more than happy to know that unlike most cafes where dogs are only allowed outside, here at Humpybong dogs are allowed both inside and outside the cafe, provided that they are well-behaved and remain on leash and under direct supervision at all times.
What food is available at Humpybong Distilling Company?
Although Humpybong does not whip up freshly made hot food upon you ordering, they do have a wide range of pre-made goodies, both savoury and sweet. Those wanting something more filling could opt for hot pies, frittatas, quiches, and wraps, whereas those with a sweet tooth have choices such as a raspberry white chocolate muffin, white chocolate and macadamia slice, melting moments, or even a protein ball. For the bar goers at night, Humpbong also has a range of bar food available, subject to availability - options include pizza, burgers, nachos, tacos, and other bar nibbles (chips, pickles, jerky from Ironhide Jerky).
Check out the display counter to see what is available on the day you visit.
During the day, Humpybong brews a range of beautiful Campos coffees, served the way you like it. You can even buy a bag of beans to take home if you're feeling up to brewing your own cup of coffee in the mornings - please place orders by 3pm on Fridays to receive your Campos Coffee for the following Tuesday Delivery. If you're craving something cold, Humpybong also has a wide selection of drinks in their fridge, including their signature 'Moose Juice'; a cold drip coffee brewed in-house served over ice. For something a little sweeter, have it served with ice cream and chocolate for a Mocca Moose! Or feel free to pick up your own 500ml bottle to experiment with at home.

If you're here at night and looking for an alcoholic beverage that is not your typical choice, how about trying some of Humpybong's first batch of harvest gin for just $10? If this doesn't really take your fancy, there are plenty of other alcoholic beverages available, including four Australian craft beers on tap, rotating as often as necessary. This may include beers from All Inn Brewing Co, Green Beacon Brewing and Akasha Brewing Home. And don't forget, Thursday night is Brasserie Night - $25 will get you a big plate of delicious food for two people and a bottle of wine. Menu changes weekly.

How was the food and drink at The Humpybong Distilling Company?
Between two people and two dogs, we opted for a banana walnut bread and a white chocolate raspberry muffin - both tasted delicious after being heated up, especially the muffin as the white chocolate would literally melt in your mouth as you bit into it. Yum! The juices from Sam's was the perfect complement to these hot foods; it was also nice knowing that the juices were made from real fruits, with real nutritional benefits.

Well Jane I can honestly say that I am NOT IMPRESSED with this establishment. I ordered a pumpkin and sweet potato quiche from the glass display $8. I couldn't even get a salad to go with it. after waiting 20mins for it I enquired where it was. Mind you during this time the 2 girls s looked at me a few times sitting here. I ask and then get told it is still sitting in the microwave as she had forgotten all about it. Said sorry. It was not warm as she didn't want to reheat obviously. So.no I will not be coming back:@
