A small restaurant serving up fresh and fast Thai flavours,
The Humble Thai is popular as a takeaway and eat in restaurant. The cosy and welcoming space was launched late January 2019 by husband and wife team Wirat Pattanakajorn and Pawarisa (Nikki) Lertaromrat and has the ethos of homestyle food made with heart and love.
Wirat does not use pre-made pastes, cans or msg and is very proud of his homemade curry paste. The
menu is large and interesting and is full of old favourites such as Pad Thai as well as unique and innovative flavour combinations. You can even have Mozzarella curried rice balls or seared scallops and many of the dishes are perfect for sharing. There are gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available and although the space is small it is accessible.
The Khao Moo Krob was an interesting mix of flavours and textures with crispy pork belly, pickled ginger, jasmine rice and aromatic Thai sauce. They are fully licensed and Nikki is the master of some creative cocktails. The dishes are full of fresh flavours and are cooked to order in the open kitchen. Whilst we were enjoying our lunch specials, we noticed many people collecting takeaway orders.
Due to space limitations, it is necessary to make a booking for dinner in this friendly family operated restaurant.
