Widely acclaimed contemporary circus company Circa will perform Humans on the Frankston stage for one night only this August!
Brisbane based Circa Contemporary Circus is one of the world's leading companies in performing arts. Circa's "next generation" of acrobats combine movement, dance, theatre and circus to perform innovative stage shows that have entertained over a million theatre-goers in six continents and 39 countries.
One of Circa's revolutionary touring performances Humans is about to reach Melbourne, showing for one night only at the Frankston Arts Centre.
On Wednesday 22 August at 8pm, see ten Circa stars perform on stage and in turn take you on an inspiring journey of what it means to be human: "Of how our bodies, our connections, and our aspirations all form part of who we are." - Humans by Circa.
Humans explores the physical limits of the human body. As the artists are pushed to the extreme, this questions how much we can take as humans. "How much weight can we carry?" "Who can we trust to support our load?" This performance encourages you to reflect on your lives, your loved ones, the burdens you carry and the physical and emotional strength it takes to overcome them.
