Throughout history, people around the world have left their homes, whether it be due to conflict, persecution, poverty or to seek better opportunities. The newest edition of the International Review of the Red Cross examines the humanitarian, state and migrant perspectives that frame the dialogue on migration. From the needs of people on the road to how humanitarian actors can best protect and assist those who flee their homes, issue no. 904, Migration and Displacement, provides insights into the complex issues surrounding migration and displacement and the different humanitarian approaches to the needs of migrants and internally displaced people.
Join Vincent Bernard, editor-in-chief of the International Review of the Red Cross and the head of the Law and Policy Forum and Vicki Mau, the National Manager of Migration Programmes at Australian Red Cross, for the launch of Issue no. 904 of the International Review of the Red Cross, as they speak about some of the humanitarian challenges of, and responses to, this complex issue.
