A mum of three, engineer, scientist, educator, and all around dabbler, I'm far better at finding interesting things to do than I am at doing housework.
This school carnival is totally wild
carnival, totally wild
Come to the carnival!

If you're in Hughesdale on the evening of the 29th of November, then Hughesdale Primary School is the place to be! The Totally Wild Carnival is back again for an evening of food, drink, amusements, showbags, games and fabulous auctions.

If you fancy yourself as a connoisseur of fine foods and drinks you may like to inspect the gourmet jams, marmalades, chutneys and flavoured oils from Caryn's Kitchen. Or if you're in the market for some old fashioned treats then why not try the delights on offer at the cake stall?

Many stalls will also be offering a variety of products - an ideal chance to make a start on the Christmas shopping.

Of course a carnival isn't a carnival without rides, and there will be plenty to keep the kids happy. Unlimited ride tickets will be available on the night for only $35. Individual tickets will also be available.

A highlight of the carnival is always the many silent auctions that take place. Why not place a bid on the chocolate lovers hamper? Or exercise your green thumb with a bid on the garden lovers basket? There's something for everyone, so take a look!

If you fancy a fun makeover then the carnival has something for you too. The children's entertainment zone will offer facepainting, crazy hair, and fingernail art. Why not go totally wild and try all three?

When all the fun leaves you needing refreshments, there's no need to worry - an assortment of everyone's favourite carnival food will be on hand to fill the tum. Hotdogs, souvlaki, pizza and more will all be on offer, plus of course coffee. And while you're eating, soak up the atmosphere and perhaps enjoy some of the entertainment on offer. Jugglers and fire twirlers will enthral the crowd, while dancers, singers and more will grace the stage to prove that Hughesdale's Got Talent.

And as if that's not enough, there will also be show bags, games, kids crafts, and an art show and sale.

So go Totally Wild and visit the Totally Wild Carnival. I'll see you there!
