Hughenden, one of the outback towns in North West of Queensland, will be full of live music, art, workshops and events with outback skies as the backdrop, as part of
Hughenden Festival of Outback Skies 2023. This 3-day festival will embrace the essence of the outback and its lifestyle.
Starting from 28 to 30 April 2023, the Hughenden Festival of Outback Skies will take place across two precincts – the town's oldest asset in the local showgrounds, and the newest asset in
Hughenden Recreational Lake, both linked by an art trail running past the historic coolabah tree.
For the full program, tickets and more information about the event, please go to this
site. Join their Facebook
page for any updates. While in Hughenden, you can find more about this town, its
history,
its nature beauty,
dinosaurs that once roamed free on this land, where to find the best
outback meal, and any other
interesting places to go.
Enjoy the night skies with a dinner under the stars, telescope viewing and lanterns on the lake. Relax by the lake with live music, take a paddle or get involved with the raft race. There's something for everyone.
