The cafe appears quite empty as it is quite a large space that is sparsely furnished. We were there at 8am on a Sunday morning, and business was constant with the coming and goings of the locals, and we weren't particularly early as it does open at 6am - 7 days a week.
The counter in Huff Bagelry where you order your meal
I can see that during the week it probably does a brisk trade with people dropping in for a take-away bagel or coffee to eat on the way to work or on the train. These aren't your ordinary run of the mill bagels. There is a large menu of delightful fillings, with the bagels being prepared for serving after you have ordered.
If you are looking for healthy take away this may be the place for you.
It made me wonder how this new eatery is affecting the trade of the Corner Store as both are competing for the breakfast and lunch trade in their own way, although The Corner Store is more a restaurant and is also open for dinner, certainly there is a wide variety of choice no matter which side of the rails you are coming from.
