This hearty Pumpkin porridge with warming spices is perfect for a chilly winter morning.
It was too early for lunch and almost too late for breakfast, but there it was staring at me on The Hub's Specials menu! With Melbourne's cold winter, it's either soup or porridge more me! So glad I opted for the Pumpkin porridge - I thought I'd be adventurous.
It came out nice and hot, beautifully plated, decorated with edible flowers, slithered raw almonds and juicy Medjool dates. The pumpkin flavour was subtle yet added a sweetness to the dish.
A very filling and satisfying alternative to having a pumpkin soup!
