Produced by Michael Boyd, with costumes by Cathie Bowd and Choreographed by Todd Patrick 'The Ultimate Vegas Show' is a 90 minute spectacular that mixes magic tricks, showgirls, illusions and circus acts with the musical stylings of all the big names.
The show pays tribute to the greats with world-renown impersonators taking off Dean Martin and Elvis Presley. Dean Vegas is one of the best Elvis impersonators, he had his fans singing along to his hits while he was accompanied by showgirls.
The show is hosted by David Cotter (Dean Martin) and not only does he give each act a great introduction, but his quick wit and true style just adds to his performance. When he takes to the floor to sing and the crowd sways along, it concludes with a loud applause.
Michael Bowd, the nationally acclaimed illusionist was a highlight in this show. His magic trickery leaves you wondering how it's even possible. Look out for the locked box above the stage; it's very important later on. Keep your eyes on the chest with swords as Bowd enters it chained up. Bowd is one of the best illusionist I've seen, he keeps you guessing till the very end.
The show would be nothing without the men behind the music so I'd like to pay tribute to the fabulous Vegas band of Jon Woodend, Randal Scherle, Mal Wood and Tuhi Timote.
The amazing dancers produce breathtaking unison dance moves in gorgeous costumes of feathers and glitter. These ladies, Kelly Byrne, Kiara Kieser, Nicole James, Amy-Lee Dionysius, Kiara Werner, Megan Chadwick and Amanda Bruce, rule the stage
Women in the audience cheered when they saw the stylish dance moves of male dancers, these boys worked well together and in a couple routines with their female dance partner, Danny Hindmarsh, Lachlan Smith, Maxwell Trengove and Nathan Bruce.
The show pays tribute to Dean Martin, Elvis Presley and other legendary greats through Australia's best impersonators, all framed by a bevy of gorgeous Vegas showgirls and boys and supported by a live band. As the show comes to a close, the crowd claps each act and continues clapping until the curtain falls.
