I am a world traveller who likes to learn new places and faces, wander with my man wherever the wind blows, and bring my three young adventurers along for the ride. I also love a good coffee.

Berkeley's bountiful brunch buffet
Get ready for a rave review. This restaurant in the beautiful Berkeley marina just past the yacht club is superb. I'm going to specifically spotlight the luscious Saturday brunch buffet.
My lovely friend and I arrived early, but without reservations. It begins at 11am, but by 10:45am a well-dressed crowd was forming.
When the peppy seating hostess found out that neither of us had ever been to HS Lordships before, she told us she'd seat us by the windows overlooking the water. Once we were all settled, she gave us a tour of the sumptuous buffet. Along with fresh cuts of the classic meats, a station where you choose your omelette ingredients and they make it for you, the buffet also includes teas, coffees, and desserts like freshly housemade cheesecake and creme brulee.
The whole experience was first rate. The view from our window was wonderful.
The only downer was how hot it became, even when we pulled the shade. It was certainly not enough to spoil our time, but did hurry our tabletime to a sooner close than planned. We were offered a chance to check out the upper story of the building.
We passed a good size conference room in use downstairs. Upstairs is also available as a venue for weddings, etc. It has a good size ballroom and space around for tables and chairs.
The view from the balcony was like below only in the open air. It was wonderful.
I'm going to work out for a week. Next, I'm calling for reservations.
