If you love going to the cinemas, you'll love this
Where can you find a Gold Class cinema experience in the Southside? The answer would be at Hoyts Sunnybank, where all cinemas have been refurbished and fitted with reclining chairs. Yes, you read that right, all! What's more, you can enjoy this luxury at no extra cost.
The reclining chairs are all self-controlled at Hoyts, simply with the push of a button located at the side of your seat. The chairs are also fitted with wide armrests, making your trip to the cinema even more comfortable (there is also a nice little platform attached to host your selection of candy, popcorn and drinks).
Aside from being the only Hoyts cinema in Queensland to sport reclining chairs, Hoyts Sunnybank also has one of the two Xtremescreen cinema options available in the Sunshine State. The Xtremescreen option provides audiences with a cinematic experience at a large auditorium, with bigger screens and better sound systems. These benefits all come at the extra cost of $3.50 per ticket.
Did I forget to mention one of the more important facilities at Hoyts Sunnybank? Well it would be one of the closer and more accessible Ben & Jerry's scoop shops for Brisbaners. Located at the entrance of Hoyts with its gleaming signage makes it a very hard sight to miss. Hoyts also serves up fresh and hot Eagle Boys pizza, another option for you to indulge in while watching a movie there. Other facilities include their self-serve ticket machines (save time when queues are long!) and free parking at Sunnybank Plaza.
A trip to the cinema is always accompanied by a trip to the candy bar. Movie tickets are also purchased at the counter there.
It's safe to say that I'll definitely be visiting Hoyts Sunnybank again in the future . Along with the perks from being a Hoyts Rewards member (which includes a free ticket upon joining, member discounts and more), I also get the luxury of a Gold Class cinema experience (sans the food delivery) at no extra cost. What more could one ask for?
