Be creative and keep the kids amused
Completed creation

So the story goes, I was looking around a trash market and found a box of feather shuttle cocks, I had never seen feather ones before so I was interested in what I could potentially turn them into.

And this is the result. I am not sure what to call my creations yet? But even if I did have a name, I would not remember.

What you will need

If you are bored or think they look interesting this is how they are made.
You will need
48 feather shuttlecocks (makes 1) I have found they are cheap on eBay, but you may also be able to get them through a club.
hot glue gun and glue.
scissors
plastic covered wire (I got mine from Bunnings)

Glue one by one into a circle

First circle

Start by gluing the shuttlecocks into a circle. Once you have a circle, add one at a time to complete the next circle, then place four in the top to finish the first half.

Repeat again, so you have 2 halves, then glue together to make a ball.

Second layer

Half a ball

When the glue is dry, you can thread some wire into the ball and through to the other side. Bring the wire to the top of the ball making sure you move it around the shuttlecocks so it's not visible when it's hanging.

Your decoration is complete and ready for display.
