If planning a dinner party has got your knickers in a twist, then you need to do what we do in almost every other part of our lives and rely on technology a little bit more. Here you have the easy to use guide for planning an entire dinner party on your iPhone. These 5 apps will have you organised and ready for your impending guests. From planning, cooking, and entertaining, hold your own iPhone dinner party.

Intuition's Easy to Use Menu

Intuition is the iPhone app that is going to help you with all of your iPhone planning. Keep track of all your tasks on this nifty app. You can keep track of who you need to invite, what you need to buy, and when you need to buy it. If you've got to purchase your meat from a specific butcher, or pick up invites from a printer on the other end of town you can also use Intuition to let you know what tasks are available nearby your current location. It's handy for anyone wanting to stay organised, and it'll help you keep your dinner party plans under control.

The Photo Cookbook

The Photo Cookbook: Baking

When it comes to the food you'll be cooking, turn to The Photo Cookbook. These two iPhone apps (there is a second one dedicated to baking) are possibly the most aesthetically pleasing apps I have come across. They break down recipes into easy to follow steps with photo tutorials that go through most of the steps. They have a good range of dishes to choose from, so pick your dinner party selections for entrees, mains, sides, and dessert. When you've got the menu you can even email the ingredients to yourself or to whoever does your grocery shopping.
App Price: $5.99 Each

Measure It

Because we're going to get the most out of our technology Measure It is going to come in handy for a range of reasons. Need to find out whether you're using the right size baking tin? Snap a photo of it and compare it to one of the objects on measure it. Need to know what size table cloth to buy for your table, snap a picture and measure it will let you know how big it is. Sure we could always measure things or guesstimate, but where is the fun in an iPhone dinner party if you're not pulling out all the stops.

Purely to be enjoyed by those over 18s, Drinkspiration is the brainchild of Absolut Vodka. It is one of the best apps I've come across that is advertising another product. Be inspired to make a range of cocktails, and find the best one to suit your guests. You can choose cocktails based on a whole range of different qualities, and this app will tell you just how to make them. If you're like me and keep a stock of Absolut flavoured vodkas then you can just pick the flavour you want to use, and work with the recipes from there.

Ice Breakers

Obviously you want all your guests to know that this is an iPhone dinner party, we're not using all these apps just for convenience. This is where party game apps come in handy, and one of these is Ice Breakers. Pass the iPhone around and have guests answer the questions or perform the tasks initiated by the app. if you want to bring things up a notch then pull out your iPad and play your games on that.
PRICE: $2.49

So now you've purchased all your apps it is time to throw your dinner party together. Invite your guests, plan your food, cook up a storm, and impress your guests with your use of technology. Perhaps your next event could be a dinner party without using any form of modern technology, it's up to you.
