How to Get Cheap Entry to the Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge
First there was the world's largest inflatable slide with XScape at the City.

Now there is the craziest, wettest and foamiest fun run in Perth the ROC Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge. For one day only Sunday April 3rd, 2016 - this incredible five kilometre game-show inspired obstacle course will be in Perth. And it looks to be the hottest event in town.

But ticket prices start at $89, and that's just the early bird offer.

After February 25th the price starts climbing until all tickets are sold out. And they will sell out (Sydney sold out in four hours).

So how can you get at least 50% off your race ticket?

Volunteer to work at the event. It's that simple.

Volunteers are needed in the two days prior and the day of the event and anyone who registers for a shift (and completes it) will not only get a limited edition ROC Volunteer t-shirt, but 50% off the price of their participant ticket.

Volunteer for two shifts, and you only have to pay the compulsory $10 insurance fee.

You will have to work for your discount shifts on the Thursday and Friday before the event, helping people collect their race packets, are six hours long.

Volunteer shifts on the day itself are five hours long and range from helping in the food concessions, being out on the obstacle course itself, attending the water stations, working in the bag check or motivating racers to cross the finish line. A smiling face is essential, plus a sense of fun and adventure.

You will need to be at least sixteen years or older to volunteer, and for vollies under 18, you may need an adult chaperone if you are volunteering in a group. All you need to volunteer for the day is to visit the website here.

Groups of ten or more people can volunteer as a team and if you are a group of twenty or more from the same organisation (such as a high school, sports club or community group), ROC will make a donation to you organisation (or a charity of your choice) as a thank you for your hard work.

All volunteers on race day will be provided with water, snacks and lunch and you will get parking and a 20% discount on any merchandise you want to buy on the day.
