There are so many board games out there today, it's hard to keep up. Here are a few ways on how to find and get the best games for kids.
Buy your board games from the op shop. Make sure all the pieces are in it, and buy some from there. If you feel as if your kids have got an overload of board games, donate old ones to the op shop and find other ones you can swap them for.
Don't buy character based board games a lot like " Toy Story Trouble" and "Spongebob Connect 4" - get the simple board games, it'll engage the kids all the same.
Look into educational board games such as Yahtzee, Boggle and Trivial Pursuit. Play them during the school holidays to boost their brain power.
Be creative and create your own board game with the kids. Work together to create the pieces, a cube dice and the board plus rules. Get out paper, cardboard, decorations and colouring markers.
