Come and play Minecraft at the library!

Logan Hyperdome Library invites kids of primary school age to join them for a free afternoon session of Minecraft and other fun games. On Saturday the third of December, players will be placing and breaking cubes, going on adventures and building imaginative scenes all within the Minecraft world.

Minecraft was released in 2011, and ever since has become a firm favourite of kids and adult gamers alike. It's been praised by game critics for the freedom and creativity it allows gamers and has been nominated for and won plenty of awards too.

Due to the lack of in-game instructions, players often turn to online tutorials to learn the ropes. A large online community has risen up around the game, possibly aided in part by users' need to share information on gameplay with one another.

How Game Are You?: Minecraft is free to attend at Logan Hyperdome Library, but bookings are essential.
