Southside's cheekiest brunch spot
Newly opened in South Yarra just along South Yarra Station, House of Lulu White has taken up residence on Yarra Street.
Decked out in a bright pink decor, this new south-side cafe certainly serves up a bit of cheeky fun. The cafe is named as a nod to the infamous Lulu White, a procuress and savvy businesswomen, well known for her 'hospitality' at Paradise Girls brothel (which once stood at the address of 4 Yarra Street.)
Newly opened near South Yarra Station, House of Lulu White.
Nowadays, the cafe serves up a menu that's reflective of its naughty history with an all-day breakfast and lunch menu with of course, cocktails and a solid adult drinks list. The menu is divided into Naughty and Nice, but you'll also find menu items on the 'nice' list can be made naughtier too. Such as the steel cut oats and shaved rhubarb which can be spiked with a splash of whisky.
We tried the less cheeky, but equally delicious granola with the Acai, Almond Milk Co., fresh fruit, goji berries, buckwheat and yoghurt (below) from the nice list.

The cafe features a vibrant and colourful setting with a tropical feel and serves up coffee by Dukes. If you're keen for something a little more celebratory, Lulu White also offers a Bottomless Brunch every weekend with all-you-can-drink Mimosas, espresso martinis and Bloody Marys from $30 per person. Just arrive before 1pm and you'll have 1.5 hours to indulge with your breakfast. It's a great way to celebrate with friends or treat yourself for surviving the week!
