The House of Honey in the Swan Valley - what is there not to love!

I love the House of Honey
There is nothing like having a gourmet ice-cream and a light lunch or drink in the Valley.

Macadamia gourmet icecream
On the Great Northern Highway, Herne Hill, in the middle of the Swan Valley Trail, is the House of Honey. This quaint little business has a large variety of honey available and from what I could see were from Western Australia, which for me is a great bonus. I try my very best nowadays to buy WA-made products.

Honey inspired gifts
I wandered around admiring the many gifts before purchasing a lovely gourmet ice cream and enjoyed it sitting outside under the lovely shaded verandah. All the ladies were very friendly and I felt most welcome to just wander around at my leisure.

Lunch, cakes and ice cream
I sat near a lovely water feature that added a peaceful and tranquil sound to my wonderfully shaded table. What a treat it was to sit here and lap up the atmosphere.

The mead tasting was also a treat and the spiced mead was particularly nice.
