Silly Slapstick Circus
Understandably, there are a lot of circus shows during the Fringe throughout the year. Many combine their theatrics with themes of cabaret or urban or something else edgy but there's still a place for a circus that bases itself on its roots. The showmanship and vaudeville of shows of the early 20th century.

Full of character, colour and laughs. Lost in Translation Circus Company has put on a real old-fashioned contemporary circus show fit for families. Hotel Paradiso follows the Madame and her hilariously incompetent yet sensational staff as they try to save the Hotel and their livelihoods from 'The Banker'.

Hotel Paradiso is an audacious and thrilling circus performance of acrobatics, clowning, juggling, slapstick and physical comedy all wrapped up in entertaining theatrical storytelling.

The production company Lost in Translation have taken the traditional circus format and made it their own while keeping the original spirit alive. Hotel Paradisio is performing at The Peacock in Gluttony throughout Fringe every Friday, Saturday, Sunday as well as Thursday 5th and Monday 9th. Purchase tickets here.
