The staff are welcoming, and are happy to provide an overview of the local area and the main attractions and services. The lobby is spacious, with pillars and neoclassical features that retain the character of the original 1911 Union National Bank Building.

The rooms are stylish with comfortable furniture, flat-screen TVs, and large bathrooms.

The Line & Lariat restaurant at the hotel serves modern Texan cuisine and cocktails. The Poblano-Gruyère Akaushi Burger featured in the May 2013 edition of Houstonia magazine.

The Preston Stop on the Main Street light rail is outside the hotel. A one-way fare is only $1.25, so it is easy to head South to the Museum District. A complimentary shuttle is also available for short trips within Downtown.
