Remember when Cher wanted to 'Turn Back Time' in the 80s? Well, if she had the Hot Dub Time Machine, all her problems would have been sorted, and she probably wouldn't have needed to sing to all those sailors.

You see, the Hot Dub Time Machine is one very special invention which allows you to travel back to the 1950s - just like Marty McFly did, but you don't even need a Flux Capacitor or Doc for that matter - you just need to head to the Prince Bandroom on Friday 19th October.

The Hot Dub Time Machine has travelled back from a stint at Edinburgh Fringe and comes to Melbourne for one night only.

DJ Andrew McClelland will open proceedings and then your time travel guide, the very cool DJ Tom Loud, will help help you twist like the teens did in the 50s, get acquainted with that 60s craze - the mashed potato, do the hustle like Travolta in the 70s, perfect your awesome 80s Running Man and head bang your way into the 90s. Don't worry - you will make it back to 2012 - that is what the top-secret carbon neutral energy source is for!

Oh, and there will lots of snazzy stuff, like live video mash-ups, featuring over 60 years of movies, cartoons and music videos played throughout the night.

The Hot Dub Time Machine has been describe by past time travellers as the BEST. PARTY.EVER. You can't argue with that.

Tickets are priced at $25.00, plus booking fee.

Purchase tickets online, in person at the Prince of Wales Public Bar or at a Moshtix Outlet.

Event kicks off at 9pm.
