Ever thought to yourself that the weekend just doesn't come quick enough? Maybe your one of the lucky people that have a Friday off from work or University? Or maybe you are just a party animal and nothing stands in your way of having the time of your life?

Well, if you are one of these people, I definitely have the place for you.

Why waste a night on mundane activities such as sleeping or working, when you could be taking advantage of the cheap drinks and the social life that is created every Thursday night at Hot Damn.

A large selection of music played by some of the most talented DJ's in Sydney, from the Australian post-hardcore band Amity Affliction to the sweat inducing beats of one Jennifer Lopez, and even the technical wizardry of the dubstep artist Skrillex, there is enough variety to quench the thirst of even the most parched music enthusiast. Three rooms feature the varied musical influences. Large assortments of local and overseas bands play live every week, with merchandise available for purchase on site.

Hot Damn even holds themed nights for upcoming events or just for the hell of it. I witnessed the Fluro night, which involved bucket loads of fluro paint, so maybe the $400 pair of jeans stay at home that night. It was quite the experience and even though the attempt to flag a taxi afterwards may have been an effort, it was well worth it as the night turned me into a Hot Damn lover for life.

A bar features in all of the dance rooms and the friendly staff are ready and willing to help with any orders or even just for a chat. Scattered throughout all rooms are seating areas and booths for when those feet just can't dance no more. Toilets are easily accessible and are cleaned regularly to avoid the nightmares many people may have experienced at other night clubs. Taxi's are frequently in the area so transport from the venue is easy, and both St. James and Museum station are within walking distance of the night club.

A warning for all interested in experiencing the rush that is Hot Damn, once you are addicted, all other night clubs may seem inadequate. Who needs Friday's to start the weekend off with a bang when you can start it at Hot Damn.

From my experiences at Hot Damn, there are lots of hot hot hot alternative people there, as well as mainstream. You will (hopefully) see what I mean by hot alternative people if you go there. Accurate review, honestly so much fun there. Great atmosphere, cheap drinks, (and hot people!!!), couldn't have said it myself.
