In the words of Star Trek's Deanna Troi, 'I never met a chocolate I didn't like.' Be it a truffle, a cake, or indeed a sauce, chocolate is my failing. What I love most about chocolate is the moment that it melts in the mouth and releases all those happy endorphins in my brain. But why wait? Why not eat it when it's already melted? Pure Bliss.
I originally found this recipe in a microwave book from the eighties, but when I did microwave the ingredients, it got a little messy, so to avoid any volcanic eruptions and tedious cleaning, I would recommend using a saucepan.
I have also changed the original recipe and use soya products instead, so it is suitable for vegans (as long as you use pure cocoa powder rather than drinking chocolate).
