This Thai restaurant is in the Kallay Street Community Shopping Centre strip of shops with plenty of off-street parking.

Welcome to Kallay Street.

We are here.
It is not a large restaurant, only seating about forty diners, but the tables were well spaced and didn't feel crowded.

Taking our order.
The menu covered all the usual Thai goodies with a very good range of dishes. Large carafes of water were a welcome thirst quencher, quickly replaced when consumed.

We were in a group of eight, including two children. We left the ordering to our Thai food expert, with a little input from a couple of fussy eaters among us.

Ready to tuck in.
Several entrees were ordered, with double servings. The curry puffs, chicken satay sticks and mini spring rolls soon arrived and were soon consumed. Children seem to like mini spring rolls.

With the entrees came several serves of roti bread with satay sauce.

We ordered five main courses, including red curry chicken, prawns with vegetables and the chef's special sauce, and grilled pork marinated in honey.

The yummy prawns.
One of our party was a vegetarian and she was well catered for, declaring her meal delicious.

Vegetarian feast.
A large bowl of steamed rice was a welcome base for all our dishes.
Our Thai food expert lived up to his reputation, ordering just enough food for our feast, with nothing left over for a doggy bag.
I often wonder how dogs would react to Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Indian food if indeed they actually got the food.
The service was good and the food was good. The best endorsement I can give is that we'll be back.
