Sunny Coasters, are we in for a treat! Our favourite summer tradition is back and it's bigger and better than ever before, it's the Hot 91.1 Heritage Bank Fire in the Sky - locals may remember this awesome event as the Summer Skyshow!
2018 marks the fifth year of Hot 91.1 Heritage Bank Fire in the Sky and it's all happening on Saturday 20 January at Cotton Tree Park. The fabulous family fun day of Fire In The Sky kicks off early afternoon at 2.00pm, with the biggest line-up of air activities ever, including a flag flyover; an aerobatic aerial display; skydivers and of course, the crowd favourite, the RAAF C17 Globemaster. Hot 91.1 will be broadcasting live, plus there will be live music on the main stage; side show alley for big and little kids; jumping castles; dodgem cars; the hurricane and so many more amusement rides.

Bring a picnic blanket, bring some chairs….heck, bring your family and friends too, and sit back to enjoy all the action in the skies. Make sure you stick around, as at 8.00pm the night sky will explode above Cotton Tree Park, when Hot 91.1 and Heritage Bank Fire in the Sky set off a spectacular firework display, launching from three different firing points and all set to a soundtrack, simulcast live on Hot 91.1.
