Dimly lit candles line the walls as gypsies in luxurious fur coats and velvet gowns sit across one another, each intrigued by the enigmatic mystery that is fortune telling. Here's how you and your friends can transform yourselves from the girl next door to gypsy queen for a fun night of fortune telling.


Set the Scene: Light a few candles, hang up some fairy lights and set the table with an array of knick knacks, old books and delicious snacks to convert a boring living room to a gypsy caravan. Don't be afraid to find some spooky or traditional Romani music to put you in the psychic mood. Your gypsy powers will flow more naturally if you really play the part.

• A set of willing hands – Reading palms doesn't have to be difficult and there are plenty of charts online to get you and your fellow gypsies headed in the right direction.

• Pizza – Predicting people's futures is no easy feat and as a rookie gypsy you'll need your strength.
