I love doing new things, and writing about it.

If you find yourself strolling through the CBD, take a short cut through Hosier Lane and soak up a little non-traditional art. Here you'll find a wild mix of colourful, urban graffiti of all shapes and styles completely blanketing the brick walls, along with several stencils and paste-up art created by well-known and unknown artists.

Hoiser Lane
A great example of what this iconic lane has to offer.

If you're lucky enough you may even catch an artist hard at work on a new insulation. Artworks change on a regular basis so it's worth visiting regularly. While you're there you can even pop into the Until Never Gallery located in a small alley just off Hosier lane. It's notably known for its cool, offbeat, out-of-the-box street art by some of Australia's most up and coming talent. It's also worth mentioning that many of Melbourne's trendy and notable bars and eateries can be found along Hosier lane too, MoVida being one of the more popular ones. This highly awarded Spanish tapas bar has played a big hand in increasing the popularity and awareness of this iconic Melbourne laneway.

Movida is rather special and well worth the effort. Let me know what you think when you get the chance to go. Enjoy!
