Children love interacting with animals and is the ideal place for doing just that. From rabbits to guinea pigs to goats and chickens, there are all kinds of farm animals to pat, feed and cuddle. Apart from enjoying the animals, there are plenty of walks and creeks to explore around the 100 acre property.

Day visitors to are welcome to bring a barbecue as there is a covered picnic are beside Lily Lake. The lake itself has a three metre diving board, a pontoon, a jetty and lots of canoes, inner tubes, and kayaks to have fun in the water.

Overnight guests may choose to stay in cabins, permanent tents or camping (both powered and unpowered). There is a DIY sauna onsite, which requires a woodfire. When it gets a bit too steamy in the sauna, it is very convenient to just plunge off the deck into the lake.

Nearby activities include visiting Mt Warning (Wollumbin National Park) , coffee at Uki Village and their famous Uki Buttery Bazaar Markets, seeing the inspiring Margaret Olley Art Centre , and Tweed Regional Art Gallery . At sunset, the local glow worm colony comes to life and this is a popular, if not unusual way to pass the early evenings.

is located just south of the New South Wales state border in the Tweed Hinterland. It takes approximately forty minutes to drive from the Gold Coast or Byron Bay , and an hour and a half to drive from Brisbane. We found it to be a peaceful weekend or school holiday escape and a very child friendly place to take children of all ages.
