Tasmanians have a healthy respect for good food, and that includes good pub grub.
The Horseshoe Inn at 860 Cambridge Road, Cambridge, has been a favourite with Hobart locals for years, way back in the days when the hotel was sitting on the main highway in and out of town.
The traffic route may have changed though the ambience - think welcoming log fire on a cold day - and the extensive menu remain as popular as ever.
Meals are available from the bistro from 12noon - 2pm seven days and 5.30pm-8.30pm Monday to Saturday. Always check for the Blackboard Specials before making a decision about what to select for your meal, as well as the Two Course Lunch Specials.
