AKA 'The Dog Beach'
Looking for something to do in Newcastle that both you and your pooch can enjoy? Look no further than Horseshoe Beach in Newcastle East. This stretch of sand is Newcastle's only leash-free beach meaning dogs can run and play unrestricted, enjoying a dunk in the ocean or just a sniff about the bushes.

It's a great opportunity to socialise a cooped-up canine. Here your dog can run with the pack, play tug-o-war with a Taigan or fetch with a Foxy. With this much activity, you can be sure Pup will nap in the car on the way home!

Sheltered behind Nobby's Headland, Horseshoe Beach is also a great place for children, the calm water making swimming much safer and less daunting, as well as a great place for dog watching with the variety of breeds on display on any given afternoon simply mind-boggling.

With all this and FREE parking, Horseshoe beach is a great place to bring the whole family. Check it out.
