This literally is the most amazing Tea Room I have ever been too. If you ever go to Melbourne you must try this, it's like a little bit of heaven fell right here (and I do not mean that metaphorically, it literally is that good).
Basically it is always full, and you may have to line up and wait around 15-20 minutes. Trust me it's worth it.
If your going there for afternoon tea, they have a lovely list teas, I suggest 'Strawberry Kisses', if you like fruity teas. They have a huge variety of cakes displayed in the window, It's very very hard to chose just one.
I suggest the Pavlova, New York Cheese Cake and you must try their Greek Doughnuts.
Doughnuts with fresh fruit covered in syrup, ice-cream and fairy floss, these truly were the best doughnuts I ever had.
They also do lunch, I sampled some of their sandwiches, chicken and avocado were my favourite.
The interior is quite small, yet the service and food are both impeccable, you can also buy a box of their teas to take home too.
If you are looking for a delicious and eloquent place have lunch or tea head down to The Block Arcade on Collins Street and try
Hopetoun Tea Rooms.
