Hope Valley Guided Walk with Reservoir Rangers

On Sunday the 19th and Wednesday the 29th of June 2022, you are invited to join reservoir rangers on a guided walk at Hope Valley reservoir reserve . During the walk, you will learn how safe, reliable and affordable water services are delivered to the public. You will also learn about the wildlife and birds that call the reserve home.



Reservoir rangers will explain how they take care of the reservoir and its reserve as well as how drinking water is stored and treated. Water is diverted to the reservoir from Gorge Weir on the River Torrens.



There is no cost to participate in this walk, however, bookings are required and can be made online via their Eventbrite website. Hope Valley reservoir reserve is accessible by car with some parking available at the Lyons Road entrance in Dernancourt.
