It was 1987 - and the 'Australian Countdown Music and Video Awards' graced our heavy set television screens: Farnham infiltrated and electrified Aussie loungerooms with a performance of: 'You're the Voice'. His showmanship, as usual, enthralling. Fast forward to New Years Eve 2016 - and a similar palpable energy radiates through a pub full of Novocastrians - as they can't help but unanimously unite in belting out the very same song. Time may have passed, but our zest for 'Farnsy' definitely hasn't! A tasty little nibble on the entree instrumental and just one or two bars is usually all that it takes to muster the masses, and with every single fibre of their beings.

Australia's lovable larrikin - the one with the laugh, the once mullet, the 'Sadie' taunts, that gift of voice of blissful vigour (and the long list of accolades to celebrate it) has a nice welcome knack of quickly and cheekily alluring you into becoming another link in his infectious, feel-good 'Chain Reaction'. And who could resist? Good thing you don't have to within the refreshing realm of Hope Estate.
No need to "sit in silence" when you can "make a noise and make it clear" with favourites such as: 'Pressure Down', 'Two Strong Hearts', 'Age of Reason', 'That's Freedom'...etc, as well as relishing in yet more Aussie treats (in addition, that is, to the food and wine on tap) - Special Guests: Jon Stevens, The Black Sorrows and Shannon Noll!
