Have you ever dined with the stars? Well, this is your chance to dine with the cream of Australia's business, sporting and entertainment industries. I am, of course, talking about the HOPE Africa Gala Dinner.

Started off as a project by the Rotary Club of Macquarie Park , the HOPE Africa Project is aimed at raising funds to build and support a not-for-profit youth centre in Otjiwarongo, a city in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. This project came to life after a couple of Rotary members from the Macquarie Park Rotary made a trip to Namibia in 2003. Since then, the club has participated in a locally run program that targets children who are living in extreme poverty by financially supporting them in every facet of their lives. Partnering up with the Indigo Foundation , the local authorities of Otjiwarongo, and the Rotary Club of Otjiwarongo, HOPE Africa sources and finances all of the basic needs of the children, with a focus on their education.

Help HOPE Africa continue their goal of helping these children by attending this star-studded event that will take place on the 27th of September 2013 at Curzon Hall. Join your favourite stars in making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate while enjoying an evening of entertainment, networking and variety auctions.

Among the night's dazzling guests are:

HOPE Africa's Ambassador and Olympic Gold Medalist, Australia's very own, Ian Thorpe;

Olympic Gold Medallist, Cathy Freeman;

Louise Sauvage, Australia's most highly decorated Paralympian;

Brad Fittler, NRL legend and sports presenter;

journalist, author and TV presenter, Jeff McMullen;

former RAAF pilot and aerobatic competitor, Matt Hall;

former Chief of the Defence Force and 2001 Australian Of The Year, General Peter John Cosgrove;

Indigenous Australian professional football striker, Kyah Simon;

World's first Taekwondo Olympic Gold medalist, Lauren Burns OAM;

Spiritual leader of Sydney FC, Terry McFlynn; and

Australian television journalist and NINE news presenter, Peter Overton.

While your wine and dine to your heart's content, 100% of the profits (tickets, auction and donated monies) raised from this evening will assist in the development of an education and healthcare facility in Namibia.

For a $1500 Gold Seat ticket, you will be given the opportunity to dine at a table hosted by the celebrity of your choice while $1000 (a Silver Seat) will see you seated with an unspecified celebrity table host. If that does not meet with your budget, then the Bronze Seat is the option for you. While these seats are limited and without their own celebrity hosts, you will still be able to meet them during this three-course dining experience. Visit the HOPE Africa website for more information on the tickets.

Tell your friends about HOPE Africa by joining their group page on Facebook or invite them to the dinner with you through their Facebook event page .
