No clowning around: Free school holidays entertainment
With the most exciting international and local street theatre and circus acts ever seen in Australia, with three nights and four days of family-friendly entertainment... Hoopla 2014 returns!

Filled with circus antics, hilarious comedy capers and heart-stopping stunts to excite, thrill and entertain all ages it is a must attend event!

It is Australia's pre-eminent annual circus, sideshow and street theatre festival filled with heart-stopping, jaw dropping moments from the Wheel of Steel to an audible gasp of raw boundary pushing talent of Gravity & Other Myths, it is an event that will certainly please all.

With over twenty seven performances spanned out over four days and three nights and with most acts being free or $ 10 & under it is a must see and experience.
There are spellbound magic, graceful dancers, jaw dropping acts and many more including The Circus Playground for the little ones!

Fireworks will be displayed on the Saturday (19 April) at 8:30pm so be sure to catch a glimpse of those colourful lights.

A number of food and beverage venues, including takeaway outlets, cafes and restaurants throughout Darling Harbour will be open during the event. (Do note that no glass or alcohol can be bought into Darling Harbour).

There are eight main venues for the festival: Ringside, Ukivo both located in Palm Cove, Man and Machine located at Druitt Landing, adjacent to the IMAX Theatre, Wheel of Steel is located at Harbourside Amphitheatre, along the promenade- outside Harbourside Shopping Centre, Circus Gardens is located on the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium forecourt and under Pyrmont Bridge and finally The Little Palais and La Petite Grand are both located in Darling Quarter near Tumbalong Park. The Circus Playground varies, so look out for the circus steps.

There are many ways to get to the event.

Train, light rail, bus, ferry or car are options. If you are driving to the event Harbourside Car Park is the best option for this and there is plenty of car space around 1,200 spaces.
If you prefer public transport you can get the train from Central Station and catch the light rail to Darling Harbour or Town Hall is the closest train station walk down Market, Druitt, Bathurst or Goulbourn Streets.

You can also catch the bus- do check the website for more information on which bus is the best one to catch.
