One of my favourite places to buy Asian groceries, and to have a general sticky beak, is the on Clayton Road, Clayton. There is a tendency to become lost in the ambience; the abundance of groceries and items from virtually every country in Asia, the marketplace feel, and the excited busyness of the shoppers.

Clayton is one of those suburbs that has transformed so much over the past few decades, becoming an understated suburban goldmine of culinary delights from around the world. is situated in the old Officeworks building, with its unmistakable blue paint on the external walls, but with the new signage propped on the side. You can enter from the Coles carpark area at the back of the , on Cooke Street, or you can enter via the main entrance at 359-365 Clayton Road.

To the far end of the supermarket are fruits and vegetables, primarily Asian greens, herbs and some exotic fruits. The prices are quite reasonable and the produce is always very fresh. Following on from there is a section which stocks specialty items such as biscuit tins, novelty sweet and biscuit boxes, and promotional goods such as Hello Kitty gift boxes. There's always something new that comes in.

As you walk past the deli items on the right refrigerated section, with the largest tofu range in Melbourne, you will notice a freezer section on the left with a multitude of great products, all imported, and mostly not found anywhere else. The back freezer wall has some fantastic products, like delicious dumplings, custard buns, and seafood wontons. Look out for the ice-creams on the opposite end of the freezer wall. The individually wrapped ice-creams are amazing and you won't find them anywhere else.

In the centre of the store are numerous shopping aisles crammed full of products from all over Asia. You'll find anything and everything you may need to cook your own Asian feast; products from The Philippines, Japan, Malaysia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and more!
The aisles stock sweets, preserves, teas, jams, jellies, nori, noodles, tofu, drinks, herbs, spices, biscuits, snacks, cooking utensils, woks, nuts, breads and so much more. There's even a liquor section at the front of the supermarket which stocks Japanese, Korean, and Chinese liquor.
The prices are fantastic and there's such a great range that you will find yourself going back every time.
