I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Be social and COVID-19 safe

Casual vibes (image JW)
Honeysuckle Social is in a nicely decorated indoor/outdoor space opposite Honeysuckle Hotel. The variety of seating includes booths, high bar tables, lounges and al fresco dining tables. At the moment, they are taking care to ensure physical distancing by limiting numbers and patrons scanning in. Walk ins are possible for lunch but one should book for evenings.

A good selection of beverages (image JW)
The
menu caters for different dietary requirements with plenty of vegetarian and gluten free choices.
Drinks include a large selection of craft beers and they have an extensive reasonably priced cocktail menu.

The salmon poke bowl was a good choice for a fresh and filling lunch and most of the food we saw being served to other tables looked nicely presented and of a generous portion size.

They also have a seasonal specials menu from which I chose the tasty and spicy green curry of chicken.

Honeysuckle Social is a great place to socialise and/or have a meal and feels very COVID-19 safe with friendly staff and good hygiene protocols.
