Now in comparison to the other factory stores that I visited recently, this comes across a a very amateurish affair. The receptionist, dressed in hair net and white coat, doubles up as shop sales person and I am sure that isn't the only duty that he performs. It has been in operation for 12 years. However, don't let that fool you into believing that their products are 'amateurish' - they take their honey production as seriously as the bees that make it.
The Honey Downunder people and their bees produce quality Australian Honey. All honey is sourced from Australian sources, with most of it coming from Queensland and New South Wales. The honey also comes with names such as 'Stringy Bark' and 'Iron Bark'. Prices are based on weight, with 1Kg costing $8.50 and 3Kg costing $22.00. Beeswax is also for sale at $15.
The company does not have an online presence and so present their products can be bought direct from the factory or from their distributors. The factory shop is open during normal daylight factory hours.
