Homemade Protein Shakes - The Old-Fashioned Way

Way before protein powder and
Slim Fast were invented, staples in the kitchen pantry were:
Eggs
Milk
Peanut butter
I found this out on the website called
Quora, a few months ago, as I cannot afford protein powder and
Slim Fast.
I have been preparing my own homemade protein shakes ever since! Delicious!
For example, for about a month, I have had my own homemade protein shakes called Strawberry Peanut Butter Protein Shakes consisting of milk, peanut butter, eggs, strawberry jelly and various cookies (ranging from leftover Christmas cookies to vanilla wafers to chocolate chip to Oreos to Girl Scout thin mints to etc.) all blended in a blender. Occasionally I use a dash of an extract.
Today, I am going to prepare homemade chocolate peanut butter protein shakes! This consists of milk, eggs, peanut butter, hot chocolate, maybe cookies and a dash of an extract (probably almond) all blended together.
Peanut butter is inexpensive.
I get eggs from a local egg farmer (2 cartons per week).
My roommate does not get upset about the amount of fat-free skim milk that I use each week, which is a blessing.
