The Homeground Festival part of Corroboree Australia will be at Sydney Opera House on 22nd November until 23rd November. Celebrating song, music and dance from Indigenous cultures from across Australia and from around the world. With Sydney Harbour as a backdrop this is a true Australian celebration. You won't be able to stop yourself from dancing along to the rhythms and beats from around the world. Showcasing talent from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander culture as well as other cultures from across the globe it will be also be a feast for the eyes and soul.
One of Australia's most loved Indigenous performers, Dan Sultan, will lead the show with his unique list of powerhouse riffs, gospel music and banjo songs. An array of artists will put on a show including the Canadian duo Digging Roots, Richard Franklin and the Charcoal Club.
There will be pop up bars, plenty of eateries to choose from and two huge outdoor stages. You might wish to make a day of it so bring a hat and sunblock and get ready for this indigenous fusion of music while you support this great festival of free entertainment.
