I am passionate about discovering new food and places in and out of Sydney.

Home is where good and honest food is
Home, a Thai restaurant that I've heard great reviews about but haven't had the chance to check out myself. So on Australia Day while hanging around the city and thinking what to have for dinner we thought of Home. The reviews and awards displayed on their window confirmed that we must try this.
I must warn you that the queue can be rather long. When you arrive you have to put your name on the paper hanging by the door and wait for your number to be called. Remember to do this otherwise you might be waiting the whole night.
As I was waiting, I am entertained by what the chefs are doing through the windows and the colourful display of interesting Thai desserts. I love the way the waiters and chefs were busy cooking and serving which brought me back to the way Asia is when it comes to food.

Thankfully we didn't have to wait long as we were there just before 6pm. We were led upstairs to the corner and were quickly given the menu. Their service is efficient but I wouldn't say they were too friendly as they were probably too busy.
Home offers traditional flavours of Thailand with their authentic dishes. They have so many choices to choose from, I found it hard as I would have loved to have food from each category.
We decided on a few common dishes and the taste of each dish exploded in my mouth like a happy marriage. I love how their use of spices and fresh ingredients gives a truly Thai experience that keeps me wanting more.

Although it can be a little crammed, I really liked this place and felt so satisfied. The dishes and the atmosphere is definitely calling me back Home and I am excited to check out new dishes this time round.
