Event:
Little purple alien descending on Adelaide to save fur babes

'Home', the highly anticipated alien flick with a blue mint chewing, lemonade drinking fellow named Oh, will be playing at Capri Theatre on Saturday, 21st March at 2pm. If you were thinking of taking the kids to see this hilarious looking movie, please attend this screening, which has been arranged to help raise desperately needed funds for SA Dog Rescue, thanks to an initiative of Animal Rescue Relief.

Animal Rescue Relief has organised this public screening to cover the costs of a large vet bill of $3,000. This fundraising organisation recognises the incredible commitment that SA Dog Rescue (SADR) makes to beautiful animals in need of help.

Their entire operation is run by volunteers, and they desperately need your help. There are countless happy stories being shared currently on their Facebook site from grateful dog owners and for good reason.

There is one sad story being shared on their Facebook site too. You may have heard recently that SADR has been swamped already this year with so many rescue cases they have made a heartbreaking decision. They cannot take in new rescue animals for a while as they are beyond full capacity.

Being a No Kill Rescue, there are high numbers of beautiful animals already looking for their forever homes. Animal Rescue Relief is doing what they can to assist, like bringing the funny alien Oh to you.

Which brings me back to Oh, of the comedy animation 'Home'. Oh is also looking for his forever home. I don't know yet how the alien's story ends but I look forward to finding out. I know my son has already made up his mind that we will see this Dreamworks movie. I also know that we really love dogs. One day we will find a rescue dog just as our previous beloved girl was. Meanwhile we can make a difference by simply choosing Saturday, March 21st at Capri Theatre, Goodwood 2pm as the day we go see 'Home'.
